Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Developing and executing organic content strategies/posting plans tailored to the client’s brand voice, musical projects, and current internet culture.
  • On-Camera & Behind-the-Scenes Content: Capture authentic, real-time moments and design short-form videos that resonate with fans and maximize reach across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Social Media Calendar Management: Create a content calendar updating frequently as events and opportunities are updated and changed daily.
  • Trend Integration: Acting as the "fresh voice" for the brand by identifying and leveraging emerging internet trends, sounds, and formats that resonate with Gen Z and millennial audiences.
  • Community Engagement: Create communities across social media platforms.
  • Build and nurture an engaged online fanbase by responding to comments/DMs, coordinate IG lives and Q&As, and spotlight Discords to close-friend groups and comment threads - to deepen fan loyalty, organize super fans, and increase organic reach.
  • BONUS: Responsible for orchestrating Twitch and Discord live stream sessions, including setting up audio, account configurations, and platform functionality for the client’s channels. Must understand how to capture live streams in real time during events, performances, and creator collaborations, while continually exploring new ways to engage fans and grow their audience.
  • Campaign & Launch Support: Work closely with the client and management team to align organic content with official releases, live performances, and brand partnerships with original short-form content that complements label marketing while maintaining artist’s authentic voice.
  • Analytics & Strategy Optimization: Track performance and engagement data to optimize content strategy and advise on what’s working (and what’s not) in real time.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure content remains consistent and synergistic across all platforms while collaborating with the record label, management, and marketing teams.
  • Creative Production & Brand Growth: Pitching and producing brand-aligned activations that increase exposure - including collaborations, live moments, and real-world or digital events.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing social media for brands, creators, or media companies
  • Strong portfolio of content you have personally shot and edited
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Experience developing and executing content strategies and campaigns
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
  • Basic design skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar
  • Comfortable shooting content using professional cameras or mobile setups
  • Proficiency in analyzing social media metrics and using tools to optimize performance
  • Experience in developing and executing effective content strategy
  • Excellent Communication and Time Management skills
