Responsibilities

• Film a doctor, develop content ideas, edit short-form videos, create social posts, and turn real medical expertise into content people actually want to watch and share.
• Work directly with Dr. James Kneller to film educational and engaging heart-health content
• Help develop weekly content ideas, hooks, scripts and recurring video series
• Film and edit TikToks, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Turn longer physician conversations into short, compelling social clips
• Create graphics, carousels, captions and other social content
• Help manage NCI's Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube presence
• Schedule and publish content consistently
• Identify trending topics, sounds and formats that could work for the NCI brand
• Help create content around NCI's books, educational programs, events and wellness products

Requirements

• Is currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Film, PR or a related field
• Loves social media and understands what makes people stop scrolling
• Has experience creating or editing short-form video
• Is comfortable filming with an iPhone or camera
• Can edit using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva or similar tools
• Has strong writing and communication skills
• Has a good visual eye and attention to detail
• Can work independently and take an idea from concept → filming → editing → posting
• Is comfortable working directly with a physician and professional medical team
• Is curious, creative and willing to test new ideas
