Job Summary

Own the content engine for a NYC focused audience by auditing platforms, defining strategy, and executing cross platform content plus live event media and analytics.

  • Content Engine: Build and manage content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and email, with copy, design, video, and community management.
  • Events Coverage: Capture photo/video at NYC events (~2–3x/month) to feed social and newsletters.
  • Analytics & Strategy: Audit platforms, translate data into strategy, and report insights for continuous improvement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Audit current marketing platforms, create a strategy, brainstorm ideas, and execute.
  • Develop and execute content across platforms (primarily Instagram & LinkedIn).
  • Support the formatting and creation of two monthly email newsletters (HubSpot).
  • Provide in-person event coverage in NYC (~2–3x/month) for photo/video capture.
  • Perform smart content strategy, copywriting, graphic design, video capture, photography, short-form video editing, photo editing, email marketing, community management, and analytics reporting.

Requirements

  • NYC-based
  • In-person event attendance is required
  • Equipment: You must bring your own camera, mics, editing software, etc.
  • Strong writing; AI can be a helpful tool but does not replace human tone
  • Eye for design; clean and credible—but not stuffy
  • Self-directed; you can execute without constant direction
  • Data-oriented; genuine interest in analytics and strategy
  • Tech-savvy; up to date on platform roll-outs and changes to the algorithm
