Job Summary

You will own the end-to-end creation of CSPI’s short-form video content and visuals for policy education, leading ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and performance tracking across TikTok and repurposed channels.

  • Own video production from concept to publish for 2–3 videos per week
  • Design accessible graphics and carousels to translate complex policy into engaging formats
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Pitch, ideate, draft scripts, film/create, and edit 2–3 short-form videos per week
  • Primary platform: TikTok; content repurposed to Instagram Reels and other short-form channels
  • Design single static graphics and multi-panel carousels that translate policy trackers to accessible visual content
  • Track performance metrics for CSPI campaign-specific content

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience producing short-form video content for TikTok and/or Instagram Reels
  • Strong scriptwriting, on-camera or narration skills, and video editing proficiency
  • Experience designing social graphics and carousels (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma, or similar)
  • Ability to translate complex policy content into accessible, engaging formats for general audiences
  • Applicants must be based in the U.S.
  • This is a remote, part-time contract position for about 15-20 hours per week for a 10-month duration.
