Job Summary

Drive promotion of sport and physical activity to students, staff, and the wider community via social media and digital channels.

  • Own content collection and publication for our channels.
  • Leverage social media know-how to engage and grow our community.
  • Support digital growth and income-generation initiatives for the Division.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • promote our sport and physical activity opportunities to students, staff and the wider community via our range of social media and digital channels
  • collecting and creating content to publish on our channels
  • support the growth of our digital presence
  • play an important role in support the income generation for the Division
  • promotion of our sports membership offer, facilities, running events, the Sports Medicine Clinic, Swim School and Tennis programmes

Requirements

  • good working knowledge of social media and how to use it effectively to engage with, and grow, our community
  • experience of working with social media in a business environment
  • interest in promotion sport and physical activity and supporting our community
  • interest in, and understanding of, the importance of physical activity in improving mental and physical wellbeing
  • good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with students
