Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Architect strategic frameworks and deliver insight-driven counsel that shapes communications strategy, creative direction, and business outcomes across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Lead strategic counsel with account, creative, and business development leadership, driving integrated strategies that elevate client value and competitive positioning.
  • Direct strategic research and discovery that synthesizes quantitative rigor, qualitative depth, and cultural intelligence to uncover meaningful human truths that inform transformative strategies.
  • Translate strategic insights into incisive audience articulation, identify critical tensions, and author compelling narratives and positioning that shape campaign excellence and client outcomes.
  • Advance strategic thinking and innovation by bringing executive perspective on evolving strategy practices and emerging tools, including AI-enabled capabilities, to elevate team excellence and client delivery.
  • Lead with strategic autonomy while fostering collaboration across global offices and time zones, with availability to align with East Coast core working hours as needed for client and team success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of demonstrated strategic leadership, ideally within agency or consulting environments, with proven executive-level influence on client strategy and business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple sectors, with versatility spanning consumer and corporate assignments; exposure to healthcare, financial services, real estate, transportation, or industrials is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of how to uncover and articulate insights, with the ability to distinguish human truths from data points and translate them into strategic direction.
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams, with a collaborative approach and confidence working cross-functionally with creative, account, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious, culturally aware, and highly motivated, with sound problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, and openness to non-traditional career backgrounds.

Preferred

  • Versatility spanning consumer and corporate assignments; exposure to healthcare, financial services, real estate, transportation, or industrials is a plus.
