Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, circuit-wide marketing strategy aligned with Marcus Theatres’ overarching business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Lead brand positioning and reputation management through sophisticated, data-driven marketing initiatives that drive measurable revenue impact.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the marketing department, optimizing resources to achieve divisional and corporate priorities.
  • Champion innovation by integrating traditional, digital, and experiential marketing to elevate customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Leverage deep industry insight and consumer analytics to inform marketing decisions, identify emerging trends, and anticipate audience behaviors.
  • Build, leverage, and sustain strategic partnerships with studios, media, and key business collaborators to amplify brand visibility and expand market reach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership to align marketing initiatives with organizational performance goals.
  • Drive brand consistency and relevance through compelling campaigns, clear value propositions, and differentiated storytelling.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ROI across campaigns and loyalty programs, using data to refine strategies and enhance marketing agility.
  • Represent Marcus Theatres as a thought leader at industry events, cultivating insights and relationships that inform long-term brand and business strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience driving multi-segment strategies, market expansion, and brand growth through insight-driven decision making.
  • 8+ years in senior marketing roles leading multifunctional teams, partnering with C-suite executives, and shaping company-wide marketing strategy across diverse business units.
  • Proven success managing large-scale budgets with measurable ROI, optimizing spend to balance short-term performance and long-term brand equity.
  • Strategic, collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments, adept at managing competing priorities with focus and agility.
  • Decisive and adaptive problem-solver skilled at realigning teams and priorities in response to shifting business needs or market dynamics.
  • Deep expertise in multi-channel marketing, including traditional, digital, social, and experiential campaigns that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated excellence in brand strategy, media planning, creative direction, and customer lifecycle management, from acquisition to retention.
  • Advanced understanding of digital transformation and data-driven marketing, leveraging analytics to inform strategy and measure impact.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization and build trusted relationships with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications required; Master’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
