Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create, lead, and execute innovative, integrated marketing campaigns for frontlist titles, informed by market research, consumer insights, and performance data
  • Manage multiple projects and titles simultaneously, balancing competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and strategic focus
  • Oversee title marketing strategies, including advertising, social media, analytics, and budgets, to maximize awareness, engagement, and sales
  • Develop and implement social media and digital marketing strategies designed to connect authentically with each book’s target audience
  • Collaborate closely with Editorial, Publicity, Sales, and Design teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns
  • Serve as a key point of contact for authors and agents, providing clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and regular marketing updates
  • Communicate campaign plans and progress to internal stakeholders, including sales teams, editorial and publishing, and senior management
  • Maintain a strong awareness of trends in the adult book market, publishing landscape, and digital platforms, and proactively suggest new approaches to reach readers, influencers, and booksellers
  • Analyze campaign performance and use insights to refine strategies and inform future marketing efforts
