Job Summary

Own and-scale the growth engine for consumer brands, building pipeline, partnerships, and demand across events, content, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Growth & Partnerships: drive sourced pipeline, cultivate founders and ecosystem players, and align with sales on targeting and cadence.
  • Community & Events: create founder-focused gatherings and a connected vertical network that surfaces collaboration and expansion opportunities.
  • Vertical Content & Experiments: develop case studies and playbooks; run multi-channel growth tests to convert brand interest into active pipeline.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the pipeline number. Sourced pipeline, new consumer brand logos, attribution in Salesforce. You set the targets and drive them through every motion you run.
  • Build Rho’s presence in the consumer brand ecosystem. Identify and cultivate relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and trade communities that serve CPG, DTC, and adjacent categories.
  • Partner tightly with sales. You generate demand and warm relationships; together you close. Align on targeting, follow-up cadence, and account prioritization across the national book.
  • Grow our existing consumer brand customer base. Run in-person touches and digital programs that deepen relationships with high-value accounts and surface expansion opportunities.
  • Build community that founders actually want to be part of. Host dinners, roundtables, and brand-founder gatherings. Curate every guest list. Become the person who connects founders to each other and to Rho.
  • Own how Rho shows up in the vertical. Sponsorships, trade event presence, co-marketing with distribution partners, founder content. Partner with brand and creative to execute at a high standard.
  • Develop vertical-specific content and messaging. Work with the brand team to produce case studies, playbooks, and thought leadership that speaks directly to consumer brand finance leaders.
  • Run growth experiments across channels. Vertical-targeted paid, ABM into key consumer brand accounts, lifecycle programs for the category, co-marketing with accelerators and trade associations.
  • Define the playbook as you go. There’s no established vertical playbook yet. You build it, document what works, and scale from there.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience across marketing, community, partnerships, brand, or growth at a venture-backed or high-growth company.
  • B2B SaaS, fintech, or direct experience in or serving the consumer brand space are all strong fits.
  • High agency. You don’t wait to be told what to do. You form a point of view, act on it, and adjust.
  • A track record of growing something – a business, a product line, a market, a community.
  • Genuine familiarity with the consumer brand and CPG/DTC world. You understand how these businesses work, what their financial pressures look like, and how founders in the space make decisions and talk to each other.
  • Sociable and naturally good with people. Event marketing and relationship-building are core to how this role drives pipeline.
  • Comfortable with data and finance. You can read a pipeline dashboard, run a budget, and talk credibly with founders about their business.
  • A real network in the consumer brand, CPG, DTC, or adjacent VC and operator community – or a clear and credible plan to build one fast.
  • Comfort with pipeline accountability. You’ve owned a number before. You know what sourced pipeline means and how to drive it.
  • Experience building vertical-specific marketing programs: content, events, ABM, co-marketing, or partner-led growth.
  • Strong CRM hygiene. You log relationships and touchpoints in Salesforce without being asked.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can run a room of 30 founders and write a brief that lands with a brand team.
  • Entrepreneurial and scrappy.

Nice to have

  • Bonus: experience as a consumer brand founder or operator, or time spent at a platform that serves the CPG or DTC ecosystem.

Benefits

  • A direct line to the VP of Marketing and working relationships across sales, partnerships, brand, and growth leadership.
  • A real budget to build and run vertical programs the way you think they should run.
  • Meaningful equity and competitive compensation, including comprehensive benefits.
  • The chance to own a vertical from the ground up – national scope, real pipeline accountability, and room to build something that compounds.
  • In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
