Job Summary

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Refine StarKist’s Omni-Channel and Shopper Marketing Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Identify appropriate strategies and KPIs to drive transformative growth for selling StarKist products in both online and brick & mortar store environments
  • Identify new channel opportunities based on current market trends and articulate the pros and cons of these channels to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to grow e-commerce retail sales and gain access to appropriate data to shift the sales mix to higher margin sales
  • Optimization of StarKist Omni-Channel Marketing Spending across e-commerce and shopper marketing for key retailers
  • Analyze point-of-sale (POS) metrics, primary shopper insights, and syndicated database platforms (e.g., Circana, Numerator) to measure program ROAS and present clear optimization stories to senior leadership.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with major retailers by collaborating with sales and retail merchants to pitch, secure, and evaluate high-impact merchandising events, endcaps, and custom digital shelf experiences.
  • Track and optimize key campaign metrics, including Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Share of Voice (SOV), and incremental sales growth.
  • Manage Digital Marketing Plans both on e-commerce retailer sites and off-site (e.g. paid social and digital advertising at consumer sites) to drive e-commerce sales and conversion
  • Work with brand marketing team and agencies to optimize larger programmatic buys based on objectives

Requirements

  • We are looking for an experienced omni-channel business leader and digital marketer
  • 8+ years of overall professional experience in brand management/consumer packaged goods marketing with at least 5+ years managing e-commerce and digital advertising for a company or CPG brand
  • Proven experience driving e-commerce business growth with major retail platforms such as Target, Amazon, Walmart, or regional grocery chains
  • Social/Digital and Retail Media savvy. Strong knowledge of omni-channel marketing and how to effectively drive sales both in-store and online
  • Strategic thought leadership, executive presence with strong ability to influence leadership and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail, trouble-shooting and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, energetic self-starter and team player with a passion for executing with excellence and thrives in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable, resilient, and resourceful
  • Experience in successfully working with outside agencies and vendors
  • Must be a team player who is passionate and is willing to go beyond official job responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
