Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Concept and write social-first copy and ideas that brings Walmart’s Style point of view to life across fashion, beauty, and home.
  • Support the ACD (Copy) to refine creative concepts and contribute ideas that push storytelling forward.
  • Contribute to brainstorms, workshops, and creative reviews
  • Partner with art and design counterparts to craft cohesive visual and verbal storytelling that feels modern, elevated, and true to brand.
  • Write captions, headlines, scripts, and other copy optimized for social.
  • Push creative boundaries while maintaining clarity, authenticity, and alignment with Walmart’s tone of voice.
  • Stay ahead of social, style, and cultural trends to inform fresh creative ideas and content hooks.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in copywriting, social content creation, or editorial storytelling, ideally within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social-first copywriting.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and how to write for them.
  • Ability to balance storytelling craft with strategic business goals.
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and self-editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Slack, Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 3 years\' experience in editorial content management or related field OR 5 years\' experience in editorial content management or related field.

Preferred

  • Digital Content Management, Editorial, Retail Management, Supervising Associates, WE-Working for or withCreative Agencies
