Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the national strategy for expo, events, and community activations, driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand awareness through scalable, locally relevant execution
  • Own and manage the national expo and events budget, including KPI development, ROI measurement, and performance optimization
  • Lead through influence across store teams to gain alignment, drive adoption of national outreach initiatives, and inspire consistent high-quality execution across markets that drive sales, customer engagement, and customer acquisition
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution aligning Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, Finance, Vendors, and store teams to deliver high-impact experiences and exceptional results
  • Design and scale tools, training, and resources that enable consistent and effective local execution of expos, events, and activations across markets
  • Continually evaluate and evolve Fleet Feet9s expo and experiential marketing strategy; identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and scalability through new ideas, partnerships, and best practices
  • Identify and pilot new activation formats, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities to expand reach, drive revenue, and improve customer acquisition
  • Collaborate with store outreach leads, District Managers, Franchise Operations, and cross-functional partners to communicate initiatives, assess market conditions, and identify growth opportunities
  • Serve as the company9s subject matter expert on expos and community activations, driving innovation and continuous improvement across markets
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership to improve performance, optimize investment, and unlock new opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, experiential marketing, and/or large scale event planning, including at least 3 years of owning strategy, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives that delivered measurable business results
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling marketing initiatives, playbooks, and tools that drive measurable business results across multiple markets and/or teams
  • Experience managing budgets, evaluating ROI, business impact, and using data and insights to optimize performance
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative customer experiences and activations, while balancing creativity with operational excellence and disciplined execution
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, gain alignment, and drive results across store leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable operating seamlessly between strategy and execution; from developing long-term initiatives and scalable playbooks to leading on-site event execution, solving problems in real time, and ensuring exceptional results
  • Up to 50% travel required, including weekends aligned with event schedules
