Job Summary

Own the organization’s marketing and communications engine, shaping brand, multi-channel campaigns, and stakeholder storytelling with a data-driven mindset that ties to member growth and visibility.

  • Lead brand strategy, creative development, and digital programs to meet defined KPIs and audience goals.
  • Align internal teams and agencies around consistent messaging across channels, events, and media relations.
  • Represent the org at events and in the media, guiding crisis comms and external storytelling to protect reputation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with AEO’s mission and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.
  • Set measurable goals and KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Enhance and maintain the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Oversee the development of creative content, including graphics, videos, and written materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage the organization’s visual and verbal brand guidelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, sponsors, and the media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of marketing efforts with organizational goals.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent (preferred).
  • 10 years of professional experience in the areas of responsibility listed above.
