Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and stewardship of the category strategy for TCCC’s tea business, driving value, volume, share, profit, and long‑term category growth by clearly defining where to play and how to win and ensuring alignment with system priorities.
  • Act as the category champion across the organization, with full accountability for end to end performance tracking for the category, setting guardrails and governance for the category.
  • Collaborate with Human Insight, Strategy, commercial, IMX and innovations teams to uncover deep consumer, cultural and commercial insights that inform category strategy, innovation, and channel activation opportunities.
  • Lead learning agendas including business planning on Tea category working closely with the network of category leaders in the OUs and the markets, including understanding/tracking industry wide developments and continuous optimization of our initiatives based on new insights.
  • Articulate and influence long‑term innovation roadmaps, new business models, and strategic partnership opportunities to win this space.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of brand or marketing experience within consumer packaged goods, with global scope and direct accountability for global or multi‑region initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex category portfolios and balancing short‑term performance with long‑term equity building.
  • Proven ability to translate marketing objectives into integrated strategies and plans across multiple consumer touchpoints, including point‑of‑purchase.
  • Strong consumer and cultural insight capability, with experience leveraging data, analytics, and research to inform strategy and measure effectiveness.
  • Financial acumen, including experience applying return on investment, value chain analysis, and portfolio management principles to marketing decisions.
  • Track record of successfully launching new products from concept through commercialization and in‑market performance.
  • Excellent storytelling and persuasive communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and inspiring high‑performing marketing teams.
  • Digital, data, and artificial intelligence fluency relevant to modern brand building, including media, personalization, and performance optimization.
