Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and manage the implementation of short-term and long-term multimedia strategies to educate and inform intended constituencies about WAUSM’s MD Program and the Accelerated Pathway to MD.
  • Produce (outlining, shooting, editing, graphics) multimedia content to effectively communicate brand points to engage prospective students and their influencers
  • Manage WAUSM’s virtual information sessions including strategy, coordination, and live execution.
  • Develop and produce content, including but not limited to institutional videos, advertising, virtual events, webinars, and graphics
  • Create and distribute compelling content across WAUSM’s social channels in partnership with the Senior Marketing Coordinator.
  • Produce student, leadership, faculty, partner and alumni video profiles
  • Shoot and edit still photography as needed, including headshots of students and faculty
  • Build and manage repository of WAUSM’s digital assets; liaise with outside entities requesting assets and provide media as needed
  • Organize and contribute to WAUSM’s library of B-Roll footage.
  • Identify WAUSM initiatives that are best suited for digital platforms and incorporate multimedia in the editorial content (ex. admissions presentation); collaborate with departmental colleagues to develop multimedia ideas to achieve institutional goals
  • In conjunction with external vendor partners, deliver video and other creative material that adheres to brand standards and help grow WAUSM’s reputation as a leader in multimedia content
  • Build and manage a roster of freelancers for video and other digital projects as needed; train other WAUSM colleagues to shoot and edit video to assist in creation of multimedia projects
  • Analyze key performance indicators related to multimedia content

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-5 years related experience required
  • This position requires up to bi-monthly travel to onsite shoot locations such as WAUSM’s campus in Freeport, Bahamas and other locations as needed. Ability to travel is imperative to the success of this role.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing a significant workload; deadline focused
  • Creative producer with track record of developing strong story ideas
  • Ability to create high quality videos (including all facets of production: development, outlining, shooting, editing)
  • Solid oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients as well as freelancers and other team members
  • Strong knowledge and experience with existing and emerging media platforms
  • Proficiency with creative software (Adobe CS, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom etc.)
  • Ability to keep current on industry best practices
  • Collaborative in nature and enjoys growing in a team environment.
