Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communications, Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
  • Provide strategic leadership for the school’s integrated communications and marketing efforts, aligning initiatives with school, college, and university priorities.
  • Develop and execute annual and long-range communications and marketing plans, including goal setting, audience targeting, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of multi-channel campaigns (web, email, social, and digital platforms), ensuring alignment across audiences and initiatives.
  • Oversee and actively manage the school’s digital channels, including website, email communications, and social media, with responsibility for content strategy, performance optimization, and growth.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop regular reports and dashboards to assess effectiveness, inform decision-making, and demonstrate impact.
  • Utilize data analytics and audience insights to refine messaging, improve engagement, and guide strategic direction.
  • Monitor market trends and higher education communications/marketing practices, translating insights into actionable strategies for the school.
  • Serve as a senior writer, editor, and content strategist for complex or high-visibility communications, while reviewing and approving content developed by staff.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with institutional messaging and brand standards across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
  • Three (3) years (36 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, teams, or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing communications or marketing channels (web, email, social)
  • Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience. here)

Preferred

  • Experience using data or analytics to inform strategy.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email platforms, social media insights).
  • Experience working in higher education or similarly complex organizations.
  • Experience supervising staff or leading cross-functional teams.
