Responsibilities

  • Learn the fundamentals of media relations, campaign strategy and client management through collaboration with publicists
  • Work on multiple publicity campaigns from day one
  • Draft written materials: press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, talking points, etc.
  • Draft, update and deliver final press reports to supervisors
  • Share daily press clippings with supervisor + client
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client notes documents
  • Collaborate with team members on campaign strategy
  • Oversee logistics of appearances, interviews and events
  • Attend press events, concerts, red carpets and meetings
  • Log tour press requests, send invites, pitch previews, create press schedules
