Job Summary

Support and shape early PR campaigns by assisting with press materials, media outreach, event logistics, and research that informs strategy.

  • Content and media creation: draft captions, graphics, videos, and multimedia materials to showcase clients’ stories.
  • Media and events support: help plan press outreach, coordinate client/media events, and support product launch activities.
  • Research-driven insights: analyze industry trends and audience data to inform PR strategies and reporting.

Job Description

  • Assist in crafting press releases, developing creative pitch angles, and helping to create and update media reports that track client coverage.
  • Content Creation: design graphics for social media, draft captions, create and edit videos and Reels for social media and other digital marketing, create multimedia content, and develop other marketing materials that showcase clients’ stories and messaging.
  • Event Planning: assist with the coordination of client and media events, product launches, and other special events.
  • Research and Analysis: dig into industry trends and audience insights to inform PR strategies; assist with conducting research and providing valuable insights to the team.
  • In-Person Events: interns will be invited to attend in-person events as schedule allows and opportunities become available including media events for clients launching a new business or product, media tapings/interviews, client meetings, and more.
  • This internship provides room to grow and ongoing, individualized feedback.
  • No previous work experience required.
  • Possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Excellent written communication and research skills.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Receive college credit.
  • Commit to the position for a minimum of 150 hours (a 12 week commitment for at least 15 hours a week).
  • Knowledge of public relations, copywriting, social media, photography and graphic design.
  • Familiar with current events.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize while managing multiple projects.
