Job Description

Responsibilities

  • supporting the development, editing, organization, and maintenance of the team’s reports, publications, digital platforms, educational resources, and other communications products.
  • Working closely with Project Managers (PMs), designers, and internal stakeholders, the role will review and edit content, organize complex information, and help ensure communication products are clear, accessible, and engaging for a variety of audiences.
  • The role will support the continued development of recurring deliverables, templates, and guidance materials to improve consistency and usability across the team.
  • Responsibilities include supporting the Project & Initiatives website, including reviewing content, coordinating page updates, establishing project pages and user accounts, and assisting with other routine site administration.
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining internal SharePoint resources, onboarding and training materials, and supporting the development of internal and external communication materials.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.

Preferred

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in content management, copy editing, technical or publication editing, website administration, SharePoint or content management systems, digital publishing, or public engagement.
  • The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented with strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
