Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project intake processes and workflows that support the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • You'll work closely with Communications, Creative, Operations, and business teams to coordinate work, manage priorities, and keep projects moving from kickoff through completion.
  • You'll lead project planning, facilitate meetings, monitor timelines, and help teams navigate dependencies to ensure work is delivered on schedule and aligned with business priorities.
  • This role will also help establish and grow the marketing project management function, with the opportunity to mentor and oversee project management resources as the team expands.
  • Develop and improve project management processes, standards, templates, and best practices for the marketing team.
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and planning of marketing requests and projects.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional marketing projects from planning to execution.
  • Build project plans, schedules, and resource assignments to support successful execution.
  • Coordinate work across Communications, Creative, Operations, and business teams to keep projects moving forward.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and regular check-ins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years managing marketing projects, campaigns, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing project intake with a strong focus on prioritization, balancing competing demands, and aligning stakeholder expectations across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and applying Agile principles to marketing projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement more efficient ways of working.

Preferred

  • Agency project management experience is strongly preferred.
