Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging, accurate, and on-brand product descriptions for various categories including apparel for kids, babies, toddlers, and young adults
  • Maintain consistency in copy structure, tone, and voice across all product lines and brands
  • Ensure legal compliance and accuracy of product claims in descriptions
  • Collaborate with site merchandising teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Brainstorm and create unique, memorable product names for on-product marketing initiatives
  • Write editorial and romanticized language to define collections and highlight key items
  • Partner with design teams to execute hangtags and on-product marketing strategies
  • Manage the color naming process in collaboration with the studio team
  • Stay informed on current fashion trends, competitor product naming, and industry language
  • Assist in communicating key moments through seasonal campaign concepts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within retail or product marketing
  • Portfolio demonstrating technical writing, creative copy, and product naming skills
  • Exceptional editing and grammar proficiency
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand voice development
  • Deep passion for fashion and familiarity with product terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Teams; experience with Mural and PIM is a plus
