Job Summary

Own the PR and corporate communications function to shape a consistent corporate narrative, manage media relations, and coordinate cross-functional campaigns that boost visibility and protect reputation for a US-based audience.

  • Public Relations & Media Outreach: plan, draft releases and pitches, and secure media opportunities.
  • Media Relations & Reputation: monitor coverage, industry sentiment, and support branding and crisis readiness.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing public relations and communications strategies
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, articles, statements, and company announcements
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and external partners
  • Coordinate media interviews, press opportunities, and communication campaigns
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment
  • Support employer branding, corporate communications, and reputation management initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing, leadership, and content teams on integrated campaigns
  • Assist with event coordination, partnerships, and public-facing activities
  • Track PR campaign performance and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Ensure all communications align with company messaging, tone, and brand standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, or related roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong storytelling, editing, and content development abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication strategies
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with media outreach or press coordination is a plus
  • Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Experience in technology, SaaS, startup, or agency environments
  • Familiarity with PR monitoring and media tracking tools
  • Experience supporting executive communications or thought leadership content
  • Knowledge of crisis communication best practices
  • Event planning or partnership management experience
