Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and sectors globally, identifying their position, challenges, and opportunities within their industries
  • Advise clients on PR and content plans aligned to business objectives
  • Identify and develop proactive story angles that build visibility and credibility across earned, owned, and shared channels
  • Develop high-quality content including high value anchor content (e.g. white papers) press releases, thought leadership, social content, and blogs. Graphic content skills also welcome
  • Create content including anchor pieces of high value content to allow news angles to hang from and other types of content to be developed to align to engaging target audiences in multiple ways
  • Present work and results to clients, clearly demonstrating impact against agreed objectives and outcomes
  • Lead and support the delivery of PR and content campaigns across global markets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop impactful concepts and bring communications ideas to life, including working with creative teams to extend activity across earned channels
  • Devise and execute media and PR plans that support key initiatives, including the effective use of PR to enhance search visibility
  • Secure earned opportunities to profile senior leaders and subject matter experts in alignment with business objectives (e.g. media coverage, features, speaking opportunities, podcasts, and events)

Requirements

  • You are comfortable working across both offline and digital communications channels
  • You possess a strong understanding of today’s media landscape and are confident in challenging conventions and pushing boundaries
  • You understand modern communications channels and techniques and can confidently advise clients on their value and application
  • You can analyse, interpret, and clearly present performance data to demonstrate outcomes and impact
  • Client and stakeholder communication: You will build strong relationships across teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Time and workload management: You will effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects and deadlines, working closely with the Traffic Manager
  • Accuracy and attention to detail: You will produce consistently high-quality work, ensuring all outputs are thoroughly checked and approved prior to external distribution
  • Digital and platform fluency: You are confident using relevant tools and platforms and are fully social media literate
  • Responsiveness and agility: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, staying close to the news agenda and responding quickly to emerging opportunities
  • You have experience developing and delivering effective PR and content campaigns across multiple formats and channels, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences
