Job Summary
Own the media relations piece on Branded’s client programs, coordinating pitches, media lists, interviews, and briefing docs while also driving research and ongoing client conversations.
- Media relations operations: Draft pitches, build lists, coordinate interviews, and prepare briefing materials.
- Client collaboration: Attend weekly calls and support research and account-management tasks.
- Documentation and readiness: Maintain briefs and materials that keep campaigns move-ready across accounts.

Responsibilities
- The assistant account executive, integral to the Branded team, will primarily be responsible for handling media relations drafting pitches, developing media lists, coordinating interviews and preparing briefing documents.
- Additionally the assistant account executive is required to participate in weekly client calls and support research projects and account management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a legal U.S. resident
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- College degree in journalism, marketing or related field
- Must be proficient in AP Style
- Prior agency internship experience
Preferred
- Experience with media database software (Muck Rack preferred)
- Experience with media monitoring software
