Job Summary

Own the entertainment publicity support stream, combining meticulous media-list management, cultural intelligence, and active learning about how integrated communications drive launches and brand equity across studios and networks.

  • Entertainment Publicity & Research: stay on top of industry news, flag moments, and track media opportunities that shape campaigns.
  • Administrative & Logistical Support: craft agendas, recaps, reports, budgets, and coordinate on-site event staffing and schedules.
  • Relationship & Ambassadorship: welcome guests, represent the team professionally, and maintain trust with media partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Support a diverse roster of film studios, television networks, and production companies.
  • Entertainment Industry Learning: Exhibit a relentless interest in soaking up the ins and outs of entertainment publicity and learn how integrated communications drive launches and brand equity.
  • Media Research and List Management: Build and maintain meticulous media lists across entertainment trades, national news, and lifestyle outlets.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Monitor news cycles and social media to flag pop culture moments, competitor updates, and breaking industry news for clients.
  • Administrative Foundation: Develop agendas, meeting recaps, activity reports, and budget trackers to support account health.
  • Logistical Support: Provide scheduling, RSVP management, and on-site staffing for premieres, screenings, and press junkets.
  • Professional Ambassadorship: Greet visitors and manage light office duties with professionalism and inclusivity.
  • Relationship Driven: Uphold trust and integrity in interactions with co-workers, partners, and the media.
Requirements
  • The Emerging Professional: roughly 1 year of experience in marketing, entertainment, or PR.
  • High EQ: emotional maturity, ability to read the room, maintain calm under pressure, and communicate effectively with senior staff
  • A Strong Writer: fast, persuasive, and detail-oriented; able to turn notes into concise recaps, pitches, or industry trend reports
  • Exceptionally Organized: eagle eye for detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Eager and Collaborative: enjoys brainstorming, is inclusive, and willing to network within the entertainment industry
  • Driven to Over-Deliver: takes pride in work and is willing to work select evenings and weekends when needed
