Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals
  • Provide creative input on content performance, trends, and platform
  • Support campaign planning and storytelling for seasonal initiatives and promotions
  • Create engaging short- and long-form video content for Reels, Shorts, and documentaries
  • Capture photos and videos across Hocking Hills for events, attractions, and partners
  • Edit videos for social using platform-native tools or software
  • Stay current on social trends and best practices to maximize reach
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Production/Film/Video, Digital Media or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing
  • Experience in Tourism or regional storytelling is preferred (tourism/hospitality, destination marketing, outdoor recreation, arts or community content)
Preferred
  • Specialized coursework or certification in Social Media Marketing, Video Production/Editing, Photography/Visual Storytelling, SEO/Content Marketing
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe) and familiarity with podcast production
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS; comfort with A/V setup and light troubleshooting
