Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Success Criteria: A lead contributor to a high-performing broadcast and video team that consistently produces innovative, visually compelling content that strengthens the club’s brand and drives fan engagement by using motion graphics and video production techniques in alignment with the overall directives of the Brand department
  • Content Production: Contribute motion graphic and video production talent to the greater video and broadcast team. Develop new and engaging content and support other’s content through motion graphics, production support and feedback.
  • Gameday Experience: Elevate the experience of every fan who attends a Colorado Rapids match using motion graphics and video. Maintain a cohesive fan experience that reflects and conveys the organization’s brand and identity.
  • Visual Identity: Alongside Creative Department and the Sr. Brand & Promo producer develop the visual identity of all motion graphics across social, video and in-venue content. Work with video producers to maintain consistent execution to elevate the club’s brand.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Soccer Operations, and Community Relations to align video content with organizational initiatives. Partner to develop strategies that enhance fan engagement and deliver measurable impact across all platforms.
  • Gameday Operations: Support gameday production workflows, ensuring seamless execution of live events and timely delivery of video content that maintains brand consistency and engages fans in real time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in motion graphics, live production, video production or related field
  • Proven knowledge of design principals in static and motion graphics
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, graphics and video production workflows
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
  • Experience operating a variety of camera systems
  • Familiarity with a variety of the industry concepts, trends, best practices, and procedures

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of additional motion graphic and animation software
  • Experience working with professional sports leagues/teams or venue
  • Possesses knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer and an understanding of the characteristics of soccer fans and soccer culture
