Job Description

Responsibilities

  • As a key leader in campaign execution and client management, the Media Buying Supervisor oversees the implementation of media buys, develops junior talent, and drives strategic planning.
  • Media Execution: Develop and implement media plans and campaigns, recommending tactics and partners to meet client objectives, and ensures alignment with client goals and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and develop junior team members, providing advice and counsel to identify solutions and drive growth, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations, analyzing problems and developing solutions to drive client success and agency growth.
  • Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and publishers, identifying new opportunities and staying informed about changes in capabilities.
  • Communication: Develop and deliver clear, compelling, and persuasive presentations and communications to clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Performance Management: Create and deliver accurate and timely performance management documents, while motivating and developing the team to achieve high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on relevant field of study.
  • 3.5+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in pharma, with expertise in media planning and buying.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) and media applications like Prisma, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, and management skills, with ability to train and mentor junior team members and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external relationships, including leading client presentations and day-to-day meetings.
  • Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and technical proficiency, with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and workstreams.
