Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the SEO team in executing organic optimization strategies across a portfolio of beauty and wellness brands, with a focus on driving visibility, rankings, and conversion.
  • Assist in creating SEO-friendly copy that aligns with brand voice, content briefs, and SEO analytics.
  • Pull and organize data for regular and ad hoc reporting, helping the team track performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Help maintain adherence to content guidelines, quality standards, and tone of voice across deliverables.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and developments in SEO and eCommerce content.
  • Support SEO best practices across product detail pages (PDPs), storefronts, A+ content, and brand store experiences.
  • Assist in analyzing competitive trends, search dynamics, and consumer behaviour to surface growth opportunities and optimization gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, data, brand, and tech to support broader eCommerce and content initiatives.

Requirements

  • Internship or equivalent experience in SEO, digital marketing, eCommerce, content writing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals such as keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy, and search performance metrics.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy.
  • Technical proficiency and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel and/or Google Sheets). Comfortable working with large data sets, formulas, pivot tables, and basic reporting.
  • Comfortable working with data and translating findings into actionable insights or clear summaries for the team.
  • A creative yet analytical mindset — able to spot patterns, ask questions, and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • Eagerness to learn and experiment with emerging tools, including GenAI platforms like ChatGPT, to support content and workflow efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or marketplace SEO tools (e.g., Helium 10, DataDive) is a strong plus but not required.
