Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Marketing/Admissions programs of this facility.
• Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in the policies and procedures to the Administrator.
• Review department policies and procedures, at least annually, and participate in making recommended changes.
• Participate in development of Marketing/Business development strategies for the facility.
• Develop and maintain a reference library of all individuals or agencies capable of referring new admissions directly to the facility, to include hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, hospice groups, etc.
• Develop and maintain a reference library of marketing contacts in the primary and secondary market area, to include all Civic Organizations, when and where they meet and their leadership.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the identification of medically and financially appropriate admissions to the facility.
• Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of potential residents and family members.
• The Marketing/Admissions Coordinator id responsible for all public relations/special events, marketing and admissions screening for the facility.

• Establishes relationships and maintains contact with reporters, advertising media representatives, and primary and secondary resources in the health care field.
