Job Summary

Own and shape Taskrabbit’s social storytelling, turning insights from audience engagement into bold, platform-native content across organic channels, campaigns, and partnerships.

  • Own content creation and calendar orchestration for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and more, pairing stills and video with storytelling that drives engagement.
  • Lead social-first campaigns and collaborate with Creative, PR, and CRM teams to maximize reach and business impact through influencer partnerships and coordinated distribution.
  • Translate performance data into iterative content decisions that improve engagement, reach, and brand resonance across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Possess a deep passion for crafting social content, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and a thorough understanding of social media trends and strategies to drive strong engagement
  • Manage content calendar across Taskrabbit's organic social media channels, including but not limited to brainstorming, copywriting, planning, scheduling, and publishing
  • Own and execute content strategy by creating still and video content for organic social channels
  • Actively monitor organic social media mentions and identify opportunities to engage with Taskrabbit users, influencers, and other brands
  • Analyze and report on the performance of social content and incorporate insights into future content decisions
  • Spearhead social-first campaigns and collaborate with internal (Creative, PR, CRM, etc) teams on integrated distribution strategies
  • Support Social Media Lead with end-to-end influencer and content creator partnerships, including sourcing, negotiation, developing briefs, and reviewing/approving content.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X), Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and general social media best practices
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to develop engaging platform-native short- and long-form content
  • Ability to ideate and concept original content ideas both independently and in collaboration with team members
  • Problem solver attitude, with demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to ambiguous problems
  • Analytical mindset with keen ability to measure and demonstrate business impact
  • Strong collaborator, with excellent written and communication skills

  • Familiar with sharing economy landscape and marketplace companies
  • Constantly brings fresh ideas, creativity, and innovation to social content
  • Excellent time-management/prioritization skills and attention to detail
  • Adapts well to fast-paced working environment, juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines

  • Professional, positive, upbeat attitude
  • Experience with editing and design tools like CapCut, Canva, and/or Adobe Photoshop, as well as social and influencer management tools like Dash Social

Benefits

  • The base pay range for this position is $72,000 - $96,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
