Responsibilities

• This person should be experienced and prepared to work in all aspects of a modern media company marketing department. Those would include the creation and scheduling of on-air, digital, and social media marketing messages.
• KNOE is looking for an experienced marketing producer who is a strong writer, video photographer, and video editor.
• This person will concentrate on the marketing of KNOE, its ABC sister station KAQY, along with various programs and networks supported by Gray Television.
• This person would also be expected to work in Wide Orbit, scheduling the on-air promos across KNOE, KAQY, and the station’s various digital networks.
• Additionally, this person will work closely with the station’s digital team, looking for marketing opportunities and creating the appropriate messaging for the station’s mobile, social, and web-based platforms.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of experience operating video cameras and editing video projects
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Experience in social media and familiarity with other digital media platforms
• A sound business/marketing acumen
• Is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Possess a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and are willing to work across departmental lines to help the station succeed
