Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a member of the Marketing team to promote FIRST’s credentials, work, values, and culture to clients and prospects in support of brand and sales goals.
  • Support the marketing team in day-to-day coordination of the global marketing plan activities and campaigns.
  • Create and manage case studies, video reels, and image library including the organization and upkeep.
  • Develop first drafts of award submissions and coordinate approved final versions on behalf of FIRST.
  • Assist team members on the creation of content for social media, websites, and other marketing and media assets including copywriting, proofreading, and collaboration with designers.
  • Perform research for insights and competitors, assist in the compiling of marketing reports, and team resources.
  • Support internal and external marketing and communication events such as agency-wide meetings and client events.
  • Assist with general marketing and administrative tasks as well as ad-hoc duties as necessary.
  • Bring enthusiasm, inspiration and fresh ideas to the team, and flexibility and adaptability while working with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)

Requirements

  • Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Understanding of different marketing techniques.
  • Prior events experience or working within a creative capacity is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
  • Hands on experience with marketing computer software (eg CRM tools) preferred but not required.
  • Excellent project management skills, including multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks (i.e. time management), attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong research and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take direction well.
  • Graphics/Photoshop experience is a plus but not required.
