Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing and Admissions team with daily administrative and outreach activities
- Conduct community outreach and canvassing at public locations to promote ACCEL Schools and enrollment opportunities
- Represent ACCEL Schools at community events by tabling and engaging with families
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as flyers, signage, email campaigns, and online promotions
- Help manage and update social media content and website information
- Assist with basic video editing for promotional and social media content
- Support planning and coordination of marketing initiatives and community events
- Enter and manage contact information in contact management systems and assist with outreach calls
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage comfortably with families and community members
- Interest in marketing, community outreach, and event promotion
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar design tools preferred
- Basic experience with video editing tools or willingness to learn
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable initiating conversations and representing the school at community events and outreach activities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to work a flexible schedule Tuesday-Saturday, including occasional evenings and community events
Preferred
- Prior internship or work in marketing, admissions, or community outreach
- Familiarity with video editing tools or willingness to learn
- Ability to represent the school at community events with professionalism
