Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create a reporting dashboard and analysis of campaign efforts across multiple marketing channels and media. Track engagement on social media.
  • Learn about end-to-end campaign development across web, email, direct mail, paid advertising and social media
  • Assist with writing content for social media, newsletters and other communication channels
  • Provide ideas and insight to reach a college-aged demographic group
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on traditional and digital marketing campaign elements
  • Design marketing fliers, signs, and campaign elements. Review existing marketing material and digital content.
  • Learn to prepare and generate reports on campaigns, consumers, competitors, and market conditions
  • Coordinate and plan events including contacting vendors, registration, and logistics of scheduled events
  • Assist in Business Development activities such as event planning and preparation, campaigns, sales reporting and database maintenance
  • Work on other projects and internal training assigned to learn and explore various aspects of financial services, marketing and customer journey mapping

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with declared degree in marketing/advertising, communications, journalism, or related field with minimum of two years of coursework completed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT, Publisher); preferred knowledge of design software (InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop)
  • Basic understanding of HTML, coding or experience in website content management systems.
  • Personal experience with Social Media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions; communicate and interact professionally with team members.
  • Ability to make suggestions and solve problems as they occur.
  • Flexible availability to support marketing/business development events.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of design software (InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop) is preferred.
