Develop repeatable content calendar and AI-assisted content workflow
Collaborate with the owner, editors, and partners to connect the location with online experiences

Job Description

Responsibilities

Improve website conversion and direct bookings
Manage our website growth roadmap with our existing web team
Improve landing pages and calls to action
Monitor traffic, conversion and booking performance
Help reduce our dependence on third-party booking platforms
Develop useful content around San Francisco, Muir Woods, Fisherman’s Wharf and Wine Country
Turn common visitor questions into articles, FAQs and videos
Identify search and AI-discovery opportunities
Use AI tools intelligently to research, draft, organize and scale content
Make sure our content sounds useful and authentic rather than generic

Requirements

Entrepreneurial and highly organized
A hands-on doer rather than someone who only manages others
Comfortable working directly with a business owner
Commercially minded and interested in revenue, not just marketing metrics
Comfortable with digital marketing, websites, SEO and analytics
A strong writer and communicator
Comfortable using AI tools
Comfortable coordinating video and social content
Able to manage multiple projects and contractors
Comfortable meeting local businesses and tourism partners

Preferred

Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, attractions, events, e-commerce or another consumer-facing business is a strong plus.
