Job Summary

Own the marketing and community presence for IKUS by designing materials, curating content, and leading events that connect with the disability community.

  • Own branding and content production across print, digital, and social platforms to boost engagement and awareness.
  • Lead community events and partnerships from planning to promotion, ensuring smooth execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate content calendar and channel ownership for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn with timely updates and metrics.

Job Description

Own the marketing and community presence for IKUS by designing materials, curating content, and leading events that connect with the disability community.

  • Design visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics that align with IKUS’ branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging and informative content such as blog posts, press releases, and newsletters.
  • Catalog and maintain our photo collection to showcase IKUS’ activities and achievements.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely and relevant messaging.
  • Create and curate compelling content for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and maintain a positive online presence.
  • Track social media to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain IKUS’ website, mailing lists, and social media to ensure content is regularly updated with the most recent information and messages are returned in a timely manner.
  • Independently coordinate community events such as annual Trick or Treat Street and Breakfast with Santa, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, committee/staff tasks, volunteers, materials and promotion, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and marketing.
  • Be the key associate at community events including preparation, set-up, event execution and tear-down.
