Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies designed to maintain and increase facility census.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, healthcare professionals, residents, families, referral partners, and community organizations.
  • Identify and develop new referral opportunities and community partnerships.
  • Promote the facility's services, programs, amenities, and unique qualities to prospective residents, families, referral sources, and the community.
  • Coordinate facility tours and assist prospective residents and families with obtaining information regarding facility services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate marketing materials, brochures, information packets, presentations, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure all public information accurately reflects the services and programs provided by the facility.
  • Coordinate community outreach events, facility events, networking opportunities, and promotional activities.
  • Represent the facility at community events, healthcare networking events, civic organizations, professional organizations, and other appropriate functions.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community and civic leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Five (5) years of marketing and/or public relations experience in a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, admissions, business development, or healthcare marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach, relationship development, sales, marketing, or census development.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong presentation and networking skills.
