Job Summary

Build the marketing engine across plans, media, and PR with a data-driven, budget-aware eye and cross-functional coordination.

  • Own plan development, execution, and revision across print and digital assets
  • Coordinate ads, media mix, and public relations campaigns to hit schedules and costs
  • Monitor results, report metrics, and iterate campaigns based on data

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and revise marketing plans and promotional materials.
  • Develop customer and department profiles; plan ads and media mix.
  • Assess, develop, and coordinate public relations campaigns.
  • Monitor, track and evaluate results; recommend changes.
  • Compile, update, and report marketing data related to advertising and marketing programs.
  • Assist with the design, layout and writing of print and digital assets.
  • Prepare/submit for approval budget and quarterly revision.
  • Recommend cost containment proposals where applicable.
  • Coordinate/evaluate bidding process regarding advertising and promotional materials.
  • Review work of student artists to ensure products meet quality and style work standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Education, Graphic Arts, Liberal Arts, Marketing, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
  • One (1) year of experience in development and implementation of marketing and/or advertising plans.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting regional or state-wide initiatives similar to the Ohio Cyber Range Institute.
  • Experience creating short form marketing videos
  • Experience in promoting educational, government, and workforce development information
  • Experience in using modern communication channels
  • Ability to develop and execute plans
  • Understanding the administrative functions, academic programs, and requirements of a university.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
