Own and drive MASCNJ's marketing program by coordinating strategy, content creation, audience engagement, and multi-channel campaigns while leading the marketing team and maintaining brand consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a marketing plan aligned with MASCNJ’s organizational goals, programs, events, and announcements.
  • Use CRM and marketing tools to organize contacts, support outreach, track engagement, and improve community communication.
  • Identify target audiences, monitor marketing performance, and recommend strategies to improve engagement and visibility.
  • Help assemble, organize, and support a marketing team.
  • Coordinate marketing tasks, timelines, and deadlines to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Serve as the main point of coordination for marketing-related projects and communications.
  • Manage MASCNJ’s social media platforms, including creating, scheduling, and posting content.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and tone across all digital channels.
  • Monitor engagement and recommend ways to increase visibility, participation, and community reach.
  • Create and distribute regular newsletters highlighting MASCNJ programs, events, updates, and community news.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing, communications, social media management, nonprofit outreach, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to create clear and engaging marketing content for different audiences.
  • Comfortable coordinating people, projects, and deadlines.
  • Creative, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Basic graphic design or flyer design experience preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Workspace, or similar platforms is a plus.

Preferred

  • Nonprofit, community organization, or faith/community-based marketing experience.
  • Ability to develop marketing calendars and campaign plans.
  • Experience growing social media engagement.
  • Experience creating newsletters and email campaigns.
  • Understanding of audience targeting and community outreach.
