Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing of SeaWorld and Sesame Place with the development of website content and email newsletters.
  • Support the Partnership Manager with fulfilling sponsor / partner agreements with all marketing obligations in the form of social collaborations, email, website, partner events, etc.
  • Support the Partnership Manager in securing and executing radio and TV promotions which include pitching radio station partners, reviewing proposals, drafting agreements, and executing agreements.
  • Support the team in partner research and pitching new or returning partners and sponsorship.
  • Assist in inputting SAP ticket requests.
  • Assist in ticket mailings and data entry to upkeep the tracking logs and media values.
  • Monitor radio and TV media partner websites and social media channels to ensure each promotional execution and proper use of the provided theme park branded assets.
  • Coordinate creative service requests and park signage orders for new creative needs and routing for internal approvals.
  • Support with creating marketing presentations and recap decks for partners and events.
  • Support the Marketing team with on-site and off-site events including radio broadcasts, grand openings, annual pass member events, community events, and special events.

Requirements

  • 1 + years of experience related to special events, hospitality industry and communication or equivalent related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, and/or combined equivalent of education and experience
  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Able to meet all the requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles
  • At least 18 years old
  • Exceptional organization and communications skills; able to read, write and speak English
  • Exhibits sharp, agile thinking in fast-paced situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook)
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey important ideas and concepts to different audiences clearly and persuasively, especially to senior management, top executives from key accounts, and hospitality industry leadership in group settings and able to adapt communication styles
  • Must be able to function effectively as part of a collaborative team, as well as work independently, to meet deadlines
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
