Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a day-to-day brand steward, ensuring consistent application of brand standards across materials and platforms
  • Coordinate the intake, triage, and tracking of marketing and communications requests
  • Implement internal and external, print and digital, communication strategies to promote the organization's mission and goals
  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure synchronized and efficient operations
  • Create or oversee internal or external marketing materials and social media content.
  • Help organize and manage internal and external special events and public relations activities.
  • Foster relationships with employees, media, stakeholders, and community partners, as directed
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of internal and external communication strategies
  • Assist with administrative tasks and errands as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted for education and experience requirements.
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills (Emotional Intelligence).
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong project and event management skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
