Job Summary
Own the Deadwood Chamber social voice and the photo/video content pipeline to promote tourism, events, and local businesses, with hands-on on-site production and community-event presence.
- Content & Creative Development: Own storytelling across social and digital channels, producing photo, video, and written content.
- On-site Production & Events: Capture content on-location and attend community events evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Campaign & Promotion Ops: Support email, website updates, and event marketing to drive tourism promotion.

Responsibilities
- Develop the voice of the Deadwood Chamber’s social media channels
- Design promotional materials
- Produce engaging photo, video, and written content that promotes Deadwood tourism, events, and local businesses
- Creative development/design & brand storytelling
- Social media content creation & digital marketing
- Photography, videography & multimedia production
- Email marketing & written communications
- Website content updates & tourism promotion
- Event marketing support
- Event operations support
Requirements
- Highly creative, visually skilled, comfortable capturing and sharing stories across digital and print platforms
- Independent judgment and advanced time management skills
- Willingness to work on-site in Deadwood, attend community events including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice to Have
- Experience in social media content creation and digital marketing
- Photography, videography and multimedia production experience
- Experience with email marketing and written communications
- Experience updating website content and promoting tourism
