Job Summary

Own content and social media support for a nonprofit foundation, focusing on social content, copy, media relations, and event support to move awareness and engagement with patients, families, and healthcare partners.

  • Content & Copy: Draft captions, blog posts, newsletters, and website copy for multiple platforms.
  • Social & Visual: Create Canva visuals and support video editing for campaigns and patient stories.
  • Media & Events: Assist PR, media monitoring, reporting, and foundation events with cross-team coordination.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Assist with creating content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube. - Design graphics, presentations, educational resources, reports, and marketing materials using Canva. - Support video creation and editing for social media, campaigns, patient stories, and awareness initiatives. - Draft social media captions, blog content, website copy, newsletters, and other communications materials. - Assist with public relations efforts, media monitoring, and communications research. - Track social media and PSA campaign performance and assist with reporting and analytics. - Conduct research on industry trends, community engagement and storytelling opportunities, new resource concepts, and potential partnerships. - Support Foundation events, awareness campaigns, and special projects as needed. Requirements - Current undergraduate student. - Experience using Canva and social media platforms. - Ability to write clearly and professionally for different audiences. - Interest in marketing, communications, public relations, healthcare, advocacy, or nonprofit work. - Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form content creation. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or video editing tools is a plus.
