Job Summary

Own a multi-channel communications calendar for member events and programs, shaping email, social, and site content to boost engagement and attendance.

  • Email and push coordination: drafts, approvals, and regular scheduling to align with registrations.
  • Content engine: social across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn with a focus on short-form video.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and send email communications to internally market upcoming events and services to existing community members, as well as short-notice communications as needed
  • Coordinate with managers to secure additional information and approve drafts
  • Maintain email schedule, refining promotional needs based on current registration figures
  • Refresh pages, images, and copy as needed
  • Assist members and dependents with accessing the site and updating email preferences
  • Design web-based annual event calendar, updating as needed
  • Perform recurring audits of the webpages to ensure accuracy
  • Plan and send out app push notifications to drive member engagement
  • Regularly research and refine our social media strategy
  • Create and implement a content schedule

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of communications and/or marketing experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Ecosystem, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, InDesign, and Premiere Pro
  • Proficiency with Google Office platforms
  • Experience with website content management system, CRM, and Marketing Automation tools desired
  • Ability to quickly pick up skills to utilize new online platforms and digital tools
  • Experience in social media management, specifically Instagram Reels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
  • Highly responsive and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to problem solve and address conflict in a professional manner
  • Proactively manage multiple projects under tight timelines

Preferred

  • Part 107 drone pilot license a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
