Job Summary

Own the community communications and outreach arc to drive enrollment and family engagement, balancing content, events, and feedback into program impact.

  • Family and community communications: own newsletters, lists, and surveys to guide improvements and keep families informed.
  • Outreach and events: plan enrollment fairs, open houses, and community partnerships with tight logistics and visibility.
  • Digital presence: manage branded social channels, website updates, and on-site documentation to mirror program activity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Promotions: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive program enrollment and community awareness
  • Design and distribute flyers, brochures, newsletters, and digital content
  • Maintain and update the program website with current information and photos
  • Coordinate outreach to local schools, community organizations, and businesses
  • Social Media & Digital Communications: Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) with consistent, on-brand content
  • Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Photograph and document program activities (with appropriate permissions)
  • Develop site specific social media account guidelines and monitoring measures
  • Family & Community Communications: Draft and send regular email newsletters and announcements to enrolled families
  • Oversight of the communication plan for the organization

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Forms, Sheets, and Gmail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events from concept to completion
  • Experience developing and administering surveys (Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with or marketing to families and children is a plus
  • Must pass a background check
