Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual integrated marketing plan supporting Alachua Habitat programs, services, and fundraising initiatives.
• Manage and protect the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual standards across all channels.
• Design and produce marketing materials, including the annual report, event collateral, signage, and digital assets.
• Oversee website content and SEO to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and relevance.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Produce written content, including newsletters, donor communications, press releases, website copy, impact stories, and internal updates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Development to translate fundraising goals into compelling donor-facing messaging.
• Collaborate with Director of Homeownership to highlight compelling partner family's bios and impact stories that highlight Alachua Habitat's mission and outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in communications, media relations, marketing or a related field with a proven track record of success.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and other design software. Experience working in Constant Contact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in copy editing a plus.
• Able to work independently without close oversight; self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to plan, prepare, pivot, execute and follow up.
• Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and with changing priorities.
• Some evening and weekend hours required.
