Own cross channel content and brand storytelling with an equity filter, partnering with teams to promote library programs and initiatives.

  • Content & Brand Ownership: drive multi channel content across email, web, social, and paid media.
  • Integrated Campaigns: shape and execute coordinated communications for library programs and initiatives.
  • Equity in Marketing: embed racial equity into strategy and outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own content strategy for Marketing and Communications across email, website, social, and paid channels.
  • Collaborate to implement integrated communication plans for library programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate special projects such as special edition library cards and commissioned art.
  • Maintain a cohesive brand identity across all digital and print communications.
  • Design and produce digital and print collateral like brochures, flyers, infographics, event materials, and promotional assets.
  • Incorporate a strong racial equity lens into marketing and communications strategy.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required. No substitution for education.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Criminal Justice, Marketing, Law Enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a Public Information Specialist I or equivalent is required.
