Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support Key Projects: Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of community engagement initiatives, largescale educator events, customer advocacy alignment work, and fall programming development that align with the department’s goals.
  • Create Impactful Content: Create, develop, design, and support materials such as event platform updates, speaker communications, onboarding materials, social media toolkits, documentation, and engagement summaries.
  • Contribute to Strategy: Participate in strategic discussions and contribute ideas related to community development, customer marketing, event strategy, and alignment with customer success frameworks such as REACH.
  • Build Your Portfolio: Gain hands-on experience in event planning, community program development, project management, qualitative analysis, content development, and educator focused marketing. You’ll have the chance to work on real-world projects that will strengthen your professional portfolio.
  • Analyze and Learn: Track data, analyze outcomes, review engagement feedback, and synthesize insights, helping us refine and improve key processes or projects.

Requirements

  • An excitement for marketing, communications, education, community development, or customer engagement and a desire to grow professionally.
  • Whether through coursework or previous experience (1–4 years), you’re eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Ability to approach challenges with creative, solution-oriented thinking.
  • Enrolled in or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, Education Policy, Community Development, Sociology, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Event Management, Experiential Marketing, or related fields.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with project management software and tracking tools.
  • Strong Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present ideas clearly.
  • Multitasker: Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Thinker: Comfortable with data analysis and drawing insights from data or projects.
  • Must be willing to travel to our Charlotte Headquarters 2–3 times per week.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
