Job Description
Responsibilities
- Entertain and energize fans through initiating crowd chants
- Uphold a positive personal reputation and serve as a brand ambassador, contributing to our mission of creating the most fan-centric organization in sports
- Perform in front of audiences of all sizes, including 18,203 Thunder guests at home games
- Complete on-court and in-stands promotions, including holding signs, leading cheers, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere for contest participants, running with O-K-C flags, and distributing T-shirts using CO₂ cannons, slingshots, and other approved methods
- Welcome Thunder fans as they enter the arena and maintain an engaging presence during post-game departures
- Distribute promotional items at games, watch parties, and events as needed
- Engage and entertain fans at select community events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to engage and captivate diverse audiences
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform with enthusiasm and a confident stage presence
- Dance, tumbling, stunting, improv, theater, or other live performance experience is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- This is a part-time position reporting to the Performance Teams Manager. The work schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, all home game nights, and scheduled community appearances.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age by 8/20/2026, possess a valid government-issued photo ID, maintain a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation.
- The work environment includes loud music, crowd noise, and flashing or strobe lights.
- Physical requirements include navigating stairs, jumping, waving, lifting, holding signs overhead, throwing, cheering, standing and performing for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.]
